History

역사

It all started in 1963 when the symphonic orchestra of the National University of Cuyo brought to Mendoza numerous musicians from Argentina and abroad. In those years, this orchestra became one the most prestigious in the country, leading to the creation of one of the best music schools in South America.

이는 쿠요대학교 심포니 오케스트라가 아르헨티나와 외국에서 수많은 연주자들을 멘도사로 데려온 1963년에 시작되었다. 그 당시에, 이 오케스트라는 그 나라에서 가장 유명한 관현악단이 되었고, 남아메리카에서 최고의 음악학교 가운데 하나로 발돋움하였다.

Along with those young artists came the oboe player Juan José Gonzalez, who played the first oboe at the orchestra and also became head teacher of the oboe class in the music school.

이 젊은 예술가들과 함께 오베에 연주자 후안 호세 곤살레스(Juan José Gonzalez)가 오케스트라에스 최초로 오보에를 연주하였고, 이 음악학교 오보에 수업의 수석 교사가 되었다.

Ever since he arrived in Mendoza, Juan José Gonzalez became interested in studying the qualities of the cane that grew wild in the flat lands, at the foot of the Andes Mountains. He could have never imagined that years later, thanks to those tests, that cane would become worldwide famous.

그는 멘도사에 도착한 이후로, 안데스산맥 기슭의 평원에서 야생으로 자란 케인의 품질 연구에 관심을 갖게 되었다. 그는 그 때의 시험 덕분에 나중에 그 케인이 세계적으로 유명해 질 것이라는 것은 전혀 상상도 하지 못했다.

In 1983 Juan José, together with his son Juan Pablo, founded a company with the intention of growing Arundo Donax and selling it to different foreign reed makers. That is how Argendonax SRL is created, first being a supplier of raw material, until 1995 when the first reeds are launched to the market under the brand “Zonda”. These were the perfect result of many years of research and technological development. The goal was to manufacture the best reeds in the world.

1983년에 후안 호세는 아들 후안 파블로(Juan Pablo)와 함께 물갈대(Arundo Donax)를 키워서 해외의 다른 리드 제작사에 판매할 생각으로 회사를 설립하였다. 이것이 최초의 원료 공급업체인 아르젠도낙스사(Argendonax SRL)가 생겨나게 된 경위이며, 1995년이 되어서야 “존다(Zonda)”라는 브랜드로 최초의 리드가 시장에 출시되었다. 그 리드들은 수많은 세월 동안의 연구와 기술 발전의 완벽한 결과였다. 목표는 세계에서 최고의 리드를 만드는 것이었다.

In the year 2000 the Gonzalez FOF (For our Friends) Clarinet reeds were born, first presented at the New Orleans Clarinet fest, thus starting our brand. This brand that has become a synonym of prestige and quality.

2000년에 골살레스 FOF(우리 친구들을 위해) 클라리넷 리드가 탄생하였고, 뉴올리언스 클라리넷 축제에서 처음 선보이게 되면서 우리 브랜드가 알려지기 시작하였다. 이 브랜드는 명성과 품질의 동의어가 되었다.

In the year 2002 Eduardo Davolos, Juan Pablo’s cousin, joined the society enriching the company with his knowledge on marketing techniques and institutional identity design.

2000년, 후안 파블로의 사촌 에듀아르도 다볼로스(Eduardo Davolos)가 합류하여, 마케팅 기술과 산업 아이덴티티 디자인에 대한 지식으로 회사를 더욱 발전시켰다. 

Over the years the company acquired new machinery achieving a daily production of 12,000 reeds (between clarinet and saxophones). This equipment has helped to increase not only the quantity but also the quality of our products to the highest level.

수년에 걸쳐 이 회사는 매일 12,000개의 리드(클라리넷과 색소폰)를 생산할 수 있는 새로운 기계를 구입하였다. 이 장비는 우리 제품을 양적 증가뿐만 아니라 질적으로도 가장 높은 수준으로 끌어올리는데 도움을 주었다.

Currently the brand Gonzalez is a leader among manufacturers of canes in over 30 countries worldwide.
